Shri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji at Parliament of Victoria building, Melbourne

Shri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji was given official welcome and felicitated at the Parliament of Victoria, Melbourne on 22nd January, 2018. Honorable Michael Gidley, Member of Parliament from Mount Waverley, received Swamiji and group of volunteers and provided a first hand tour of the Parliament House. He was felicitated by the Swamiji and was presented with the photo of Devi Jaganmathe. Honorable Michael Gidley spoke highly of the Swamiji and appreciated his efforts towards World Peace. He also expressed his desire to visit India in the near future to further soak into our culture. He was accorded an invitation to our Temple by the Swamiji.

This visit is significant in that it serves as an official recognition of the efforts of Swamiji in bringing Australia and India closer together
